Major contracts solidify growth and expansion for Wagners CFT
Several key contracts for the supply of Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) utility poles throughout NSW and Qld have solidified future growth for Wagners CFT and triggered expansion into larger profiles and green technology.
Bluewater Trail in Mackay, Queensland includes 1.8km of shared pathway and 800 metres of boardwalk that meanders through the environmentally sensitive flood plain of Pioneer River. This case study looks at the challenging local conditions and complexity of the brief to deliver an innovative structural solution that provided zero maintenance for the asset owner and minimised environmental disturbance.
Trident Marine Piles are pultruded from Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) and coated with a High Density Poly Ethylene outer sleeve giving them the same stiffness as an equivalent sized timber pole, but a fraction of the weight and dramatically improved durability.
